Donna Adams Donna,
from Salineville, Ohio is a 2004 graduate of Ashland University located in Ashland, Ohio. She is currently a second year in the Higher Education Administration Master's program at the University of Kansas. Donna is the Graduate Intern for the Student Involvement & Leadership Center with a focus on the Emily Taylor Women's Resource Center.
Astrid Beltran Astrid beltran is in her first year of the Higher Education Administration master's program, and is a graduate intern for Fraternity and Sorority Life. She is originally from Rockford, Illinois. Astrid completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Spanish at Western Illinois University. She also minored in Political Science there. At Western, she was very involved in campus life as she served on executive boards of several student organizations. The knowledge obtained during her undergraduate experience and her extensive campus involvement has been the driving force in her pursuit of a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration.
Tyler Blair is currently in his first year in the Higher Education Administration master's program, is a graduate intern in a SILC intern, working with Fraternity and Sorority Life. Tyler is originally from Hingham, Massachusetts. He completed his bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology with a certification in Organizational Studies at Denison University.
Darryl Monteau Darryl Monteau is a first year SILC graduate intern and a second year graduate student in the Higher Education Administration program at KU. Monteau is a 2007 graduate from Haskell Indian Nations University where she received a Bachelors of Arts in American Indian Studies. While at Haskell, Monteau worked on an undergraduate research project that focused on the biological and cultural uses of switchgrass and was the recipient of the 2007 American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) Student of the Year for Haskell.
Darryl is married and has one child. She is also connected to her American Indian culture and proud of her heritage. Her hobbies include sewing, beading, and making traditional regalia for her family. She also enjoys traveling, being outdoors and KU basketball. After completing her Masters program, she plans on continuing her work in higher education and will eventually pursue a doctoral degree. Darryl is very excited to be a part of the SILC staff and is looking forward to working with students.
Devin Moss is a second year master’s student in the Higher Education Administration program here at KU. Devin is a SILC graduate intern with a focus on LGBT resources. He received his B.A. degree in English from the University of Memphis and worked for Harrah’s Casino, Hotels, and Resorts as a marketing specialist.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, volunteering, and hanging out with his little brother and three nephews. He is affiliated with the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals; American College Personnel Association; National Black Graduate Student Association; National Association of Student Personnel Administrators; Higher Education Student Association; Sigma Tau Delta Honorary English Society; Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. Upon graduation, he seeks to enter a doctoral program in higher education administration.
Matt Robinson Matt Robinson is a first year Counseling Psychology master’s student and is the graduate intern focusing on Leadership. Matt is originally from Independence, Iowa, but spent his last four years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin earning his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Business Administration from Marquette University. Matt hopes to continue the great leadership traditions already in place while working to meet new and different student needs.
