LGBT Scholarships
Chad A. Leat Student Scholarship Fund
The Student Involvement & Leadership Center is administering the award process for the Chad A. Leat Student Scholarship Fund. The fund is specifically for undergraduates at the University of Kansas, Lawrence campus who can demonstrate academic success, financial need and a commitment to fostering multiculturalism on campus. Two students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic school year, that will be distributed in equal amounts for both the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters. American
Psychological Association of Graduate Student Scholarships (APAGS)
APAGS scholarships are available to graduate student members of APAGS
who are enrolled at least halftime as a student in good standing at
a regionally accredited university. If you are a student affiliate
of the American Psychological Association (APA) and are in a masters
or doctoral program, you are automatically a member of APAGS.
- The Point Foundation
Point Foundation provides financial support, mentoring, leadership training and hope to meritorious students who are marginalized due to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

- Safe Schools Coalition
A growing number of organizations want to provide financial support for college bound students, whether they have been thrown away by parents or they just need extra help to complete their education.Many of these scholarships and grants are for youth involved in social activism, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Some are also for students with GLBT parents, again regardless of the student's orientation or identity.

These are scholarships for female students in the computer sciences.
Two scholarships will be awarded to undergraduates, and two to graduate
degree (master's or Ph.D. level) candidates.

The Audre Lorde Scholarship Awards are designed to recognize out lesbians
and gay men of color who are making significant contributions to their
communities.

A fund that awards monetary scholarships to deserving self-identified
Deaf Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex college-bound
youth.

parents
Annual Lee Dubin Scholarship Fund for people with lesbian, gay, bisexual,
