The Student Involvement & Leadership Center is administering the award process for the Chad A. Leat Student Scholarship Fund. The fund is specifically for undergraduates at the University of Kansas, Lawrence campus who can demonstrate academic success, financial need and a commitment to fostering multiculturalism on campus. Two students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic school year, that will be distributed in equal amounts for both the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters. American
Psychological Association of Graduate Student Scholarships (APAGS)
APAGS scholarships are available to graduate student members of APAGS
who are enrolled at least halftime as a student in good standing at
a regionally accredited university. If you are a student affiliate
of the American Psychological Association (APA) and are in a masters
or doctoral program, you are automatically a member of APAGS.
Anita Borg Memorial Scholarships
These are scholarships for female students in the computer sciences.
Two scholarships will be awarded to undergraduates, and two to graduate
degree (master's or Ph.D. level) candidates.
Audre Lorde Scholarship
The Audre Lorde Scholarship Awards are designed to recognize outlesbians
and gay men of color who are making significant contributions to their
communities.
Deaf
Queer Resource Center
A fund that awards monetary scholarships to deserving self-identified
Deaf Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex college-bound
youth.
Fund for Lesbian
and Gay Scholarships (FLAGS)
This fund provides financial assistance to gay, lesbian, and bisexual
students involved in the community.
Lee Dubin Scholarship
Fund for daughters and sons of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender
parents
Annual Lee Dubin Scholarship Fund for people with lesbian, gay, bisexual,
and transgender parents.
Messenger-Anderson
Scholarship and Internship Program for GLBT Journalism Students
This scholarship program is for high school seniors and undergraduate
college students who plan to pursue a degree in journalism at an accredited
four-year college or university.
