Juan Izaguirre has been with KU for the past 7 years and joins the Student Involvement & Leadership Center (SILC) as the Interim Program Director for Greek Life and Leadership Programs.  In this position, Juan will be working with the four councils (IFC, PHA, NPHC, and NALFO) to better the Greek community and follow through with the four pillars that each Council has adopted through various programs and events.  Most recently, Juan served as the Assistant Director in the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) where he supervised the nationally recognized Hawk Link program, an academic based program for first year students with special emphasis on students of color.  He has also worked in the Office of Admissions & Scholarships. 

Juan earned his B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska and a M.S. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas.  

Juan serves as the campus advisor for the Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO), Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity, Inc., Mu Beta Chapter, and the Lambda Phi Epsilon Asian-Interest Fraternity, Inc., Associate Chapter.  He is a member of the KU Latino Council and the National Association of Student Professional Administrators (NASPA).
